Game development in Jaipur: what it actually looks like
Jaipur has forts, textiles, and now a game development studio shipping games on Google Play. What it's actually like to build games from the Pink City — for clients across the world.
When people think "game development in India", they think Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune. Jaipur shows up in the conversation as — at best — an emerging scene. We'd like to change that, and we're doing it from right here.
Why Jaipur works for games
Game development needs three things: talent, focus, and cost runway. Jaipur has strong engineering and art colleges feeding the city with people who learn fast and aren't cycling through three employers a year. Our cost structure gives projects a longer runway than the metro hubs — which matters enormously in a business where scope is always bigger than the schedule. And the city is quiet enough that a small team can focus in a way that's genuinely hard in a tech-hub rush.
What we ship
We're a full-cycle studio: game development in Unity and Unreal for mobile, PC, and web; 3D animation and cinematics; character and environment art; VFX. Our games are on Google Play. Our environments and characters are in the 3D showcase on this site. Our animation work runs from product commercials to full cinematic sequences.
Working with studios worldwide
Distance is a scheduling problem, not a talent problem. We work with clients across time zones with a simple rhythm: overlap hours for reviews, async for everything else, and builds delivered on a cadence you can set your watch by. The projects on this site — for clients and for our own catalog — were all built this way.
The scene is growing
We're not the only ones building in Rajasthan, and that's good — scenes grow together. If you're a developer, artist, or designer in Jaipur (or anywhere), check our careers page. We hire for roles across game development, engineering, art, animation, and marketing, and we read every application ourselves.
The forts took centuries. The games take a little less. Both start in Jaipur.
